Welcome to MindAnchor. We built this application with one core belief: your emotional journey is deeply personal and should remain entirely private. Unlike many other wellness applications, we do not want your data. We have engineered MindAnchor so that your most sensitive thoughts stay exactly where they belong—on your device.
2. On-Device Data Storage
MindAnchor operates entirely offline by default. All of the information you input into the app is securely saved directly to your phone's local storage.
- Journal Entries: Never uploaded to our servers.
- Mood Logs: Stored locally.
- Coping Skill Usage: Kept on your device.
Because we do not have a centralized database of user content, it is impossible for us to read, share, or sell your personal journal entries or emotional data.
3. No Account Required
We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or link a social media profile to use MindAnchor. You can download the app and begin using it immediately with complete anonymity.
4. Data Security
Since your data lives on your device, it is protected by the native security features of your operating system (such as iOS FaceID, TouchID, or Android Biometrics). We highly recommend ensuring your device is secured with a passcode or biometric lock to protect your MindAnchor data from unauthorized physical access.
5. Third-Party Analytics
To help us maintain and improve the app's performance, we may use standard, anonymous crash reporting tools (such as Apple/Google native crash logs). These tools only collect technical diagnostic information (like device model and OS version) if the app crashes. They absolutely do not have access to your journal entries, mood data, or personal identifiers.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as we add new features. Because we do not collect your email, we cannot notify you directly of changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
