TaxNexa is dedicated to protecting your privacy. We built this application with a core focus on keeping your business data completely secure and private. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with the TaxNexa mobile application.

Local Database Architecture

We firmly believe that your business financials belong only to you. Therefore, TaxNexa is built using a strict local storage architecture. This means:

• All your business profiles, GSTIN numbers, signature assets, customer lists, inventory quantities, and tax invoices are stored exclusively in a secure SQLite database directly on your physical smartphone or tablet.
• We do not host any remote databases. We absolutely never transmit, collect, or copy your data onto external servers.
• Our team has zero access to your billing details, transaction histories, or customer directories.
• Your calculations for CGST, SGST, IGST, and all other tax brackets happen purely on your device.

App Features and Data Handling

TaxNexa offers numerous features to help you run your business smoothly. Here is how data is handled for each feature:

• Digital Signatures: When you draw and save your authorized signature, it is saved as an image file locally on your device. It is only used to stamp your generated invoice PDFs.
• Customer Directory: Information you save about your clients, including addresses and GSTIN numbers, remains entirely private to your device.
• Inventory Management: Your product catalog, including custom units, pricing, barcodes, and HSN codes, is processed locally.
• Multilingual Support: The app supports English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, and Tamil natively without needing to download language packs from the internet.
• Live PDF Generation: Document compilations and invoice rendering happen seamlessly on your device without any internet connection.

Permissions Requested

To deliver our core features, the App may request access to the following device components. You retain complete control over these permissions at all times:

• Storage and Files: Required to save your generated tax invoice PDFs and to export or import CSV inventory files.
• Camera: Required if you wish to scan barcodes or SKU codes when adding or filtering your inventory products.
• Photo Library: Required if you choose to upload a custom company logo from your gallery to display on your invoices.

External Services and Sharing

Because PDF compilation is computed locally, no data leaves your device during creation. When you choose to share an invoice PDF via WhatsApp, Email, or printing spoolers, the action is processed entirely through the native sharing channels of your operating system. We do not participate in or monitor these exchanges in any way.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because all data resides locally on your device, you are in absolute control of its deletion. Uninstalling the application will completely delete the local database sandbox and clear all your configurations, including inventory lists, signatures, and invoices. Please ensure you export backups if you intend to migrate to a new device.

Children Privacy

Our services are intended for business owners and tax professionals and are not directed to individuals under the age of thirteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may modify our Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be posted here on our official landing page. Since the application does not sync with our servers, we recommend reviewing this policy online from time to time.
